So what’s it like building the IFQ movement Dave?

Truthful answer…it’s like running, when already exhausted.  Bear with me here and try to “visualize” what I’m about to describe.

When running this “race” on an oval track, if you will…I’m exhausted and I WANT to sit down.  But I keep “running”, because I believe I CAN and WILL attract a crowd that is interested in how the “race” will turn out.

Then, out of nowhere, someone/something has placed a hurdle on the race path and there doesn’t seem to be a way around it, so…I jump that hurdle.  Then…there is another and another and another.  These hurdles come more frequently and they are just a little higher than the last one.  And just when I think ALL hope is lost and the next hurdle is going to cause me to throw on the brakes, I “look” up in the stands of this “oval track” and I see one person, then two, then 5…sure the growth is a little slow now, but when I am able to reveal to you all what is in the works and how this movement is really about to catch on, you’ll “see” what I “see”…this stadium will soon be overfilling with quitters!

And like that…I keep jumping the hurdles – one after the other.  The next thing I know, it doesn’t seem like my feet are touching the ground, I just keep jumping…refusing to give up.  One thought that definitely keeps me going, when I feel like I’m not touching the ground anymore because of all of these “hurdles” is…I wonder if I’m learning to fly.  Yes!  That’s it!  I’m learning to fly and soon I’ll be soaring like an eagle…relaxing and letting the current take me to where I need to go.

Quitting is NOT giving up …

Sometimes the most difficult thing in the world at any given second is quitting.  Quitting an action, a behavior, a belief, self-doubt, a bad job, a bad relationship…quitting is hard!  It takes work!

GIVING UP is easy …

Quitting is HARD! Giving up and losing faith, that’s (unfortunately) is much easier. If you truly want to quit, come join us and borrow our faith, until yours kicks in.
